Florida does not offer electricity competition though Andy Lecce our High Voltage representative offered to perform a tariff analysis for our company. To our satisfaction High Voltage concluded that we were incorrectly classified and eligible to switch to a time of use rate. The High Voltage team worked directly with Jacksonville Electric Authority and filed the paperwork to switch our rate classification. That was in 2008 and we have saved approximately $100,000 each year in electricity costs through the research of High Voltage.
